Since Jane started school, both kids have wanted to be home most of the time. My guess is that Jane has enough time being away from home when she's at school, and Malcolm doesn't have as much fun going places without his sister. Our older cat, Eddie, is quite sick so we've also been staying closer to home to keep an eye on him. Here are some of the things we've been doing.

Jane made some bird hotels out of board books. She used crocheted drink coasters for their nests!

The kids have been fingerpainting a lot lately. I hadn't bought any supplies until a couple months ago because I was worried about the mess. Now that they finally have it, they love it! We inherited this cool fingerpainting idea book and they've made a lot of the pictures.

Eddie most likely won't be with us too much longer, so keep us in your thoughts.
