Malcolm's had quite a few wardrobe changes today, and this is one of the things he chose to wear!

Salem

We visited the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem during vacation week with some friends. Luckily it wasn't crowded at all! The kids made a kaleidoscope and played in the children's area for a long time.







Malcolm spent about half an hour putting different heads, beaks, tails and wings on these birds

Both kids loved it!

Jane and Malcolm helped Daddy make eggplant. Malcolm didn't like the slimy raw egg on his hands! Too bad they didn't eat it.

We checked out some of the new year festivities in Chinatown and had dim sum with our friends. The kids loved the food, especially Jane!

This was Jane's last day of gymnastics, the "big show." She's been taking classes for over a year but I'm finding that Malcolm's quite bored in the waiting room, so we'll take a break. We'll hopefully start up again when Malcolm turns three and they can be in the same class!
