new park!

Our town has a new park! We went to the opening ceremony. There are walking paths by a pond. It's pretty!

anniversary

We hiked at Prospect Hill on our anniversary. The kids got tired so I was the only one who saw Boston, but it was still a nice time! Afterwards we went out for lunch, then drank coffee and bought beer at Mighty Squirrel.

The kids agreed to go mini-golfing but they didn't seem to like it that much. At least we got out of the house!

Malcolm is 11!

Malcolm enjoyed his birthday. He had ginger-walnut scones for breakfast, barbecue chicken pizza for dinner and peanut butter pie for dessert!

Jane is 13!

Jane had an eventful birthday! She made her own cake. She had carrot salad and mashed potatoes for lunch, which is what she requested. In the afternoon she had a laser tag birthday party!

We got the kids to go to the orchard; we went out to lunch afterwards!

All Jane wanted for her birthday was for her room to be painted blue, so I did! She helped for just a few seconds. Not everything is put back yet, but it will be in time for her birthday this weekend.
