Ecotarium

I didn't get too many photos at the Ecotarium last time because we didn't stay that long. Right as we were leaving to go there, Malcolm started coughing. He had a little cold and it turned out it wasn't great for him to be out walking in the cold. We had fun at this game exhibit, though! We'll have to go back when everyone is feeling okay.

Since the farm had been so crowded last time, I took the kids back during the week for another visit. Here's Malcolm taking a break:

I couldn't get great photos of "Sally" the fox or "Splash" the fisher (named by us) because of their cages, but they were both running, climbing and being quite entertaining!

We took advantage of the summer-like weather last week and went to the playground. Here's Jane and Lily pretending to make birthday cake out of wood chips.

Malcolm loves climbing this "spider web" and pretend he's Spider-Man.

Last week I was drinking coffee and using the computer (something I used to do at work every day and never thought much about it), and I got kicked by my daughter. So the computer's broken and we're waiting for a replacement. Once I'm up and running again, I'll have more pictures from the farm, the playground, the Ecotarium, and Jane and Malcolm's last skating lesson. So stay tuned!

Boy, did I learn my lesson!

Jane and Malcolm have been much less cooperative about getting out of the house lately. It seems like I'm the only one in the family who NEEDS to go somewhere every day. To help this problem, I got a climbing dome for the backyard so that they're less bored. So far they really like it!

We went to a maple breakfast and then visited the farm. It was such a nice day! There were newborn goats and sheep.

USS Albacore

Last weekend we met Aunt Amy and baby Reagan in Portsmouth for lunch, then we headed to the USS Albacore.

The kids had fun climbing on the bunks.

On Saturday the kids got to dip things in chocolate, then have a sundae at a candy store. We also got a little tour of the place and saw how they made chocolates.

We went sledding at our friends' house the other day.

Then we played inside. It was funny; the boys paired up and so did the girls!
