friends at Fenway

Jane and I happened to be going to the same Red Sox game as Pam and Maddy, so we drove together!

We listened to some music outside the park.

It rained off and on but then it was sunny. We ended up sitting with our friends and it was so much fun, especially because the Sox won!

dreaded swimming lessons

The kids hate going to swimming lessons. This year I decided they would take them weekly in the spring, so then when it's summer they're done. I thought they would like a pool better than the lake, but they didn't! Oh well, only eight more weeks to go.

Malcolm has been doing legos a lot, and Westie likes to sit amongst them!

ecotarium

We had a nice visit to the Ecotarium with some friends. And guess what? Afterwards we had ice cream! 40 degrees doesn't stop us.

mini-golf and ice cream

We played mini-golf, then we had ice cream. We seem to be having a lot of ice cream this week!

zoo excursion

For once during vacation it wasn't supposed to rain or snow, so we headed to the zoo and out for ice cream afterwards!

devil dogs

Jane felt like making a treat the other day, so she made devil dogs. They expanded a lot in the oven and became whoopie pies!

origami adventures

Malcolm has been doing a lot of origami, and he even started folding napkins.

Jane picked out a big puzzle to borrow from the library and did it all herself in one day! Westie sat on it, of course.

spring hike

We walked around Wachussett Meadow over the weekend. I truly enjoyed my new policy that the kids carry their own waters, fleeces and snacks in backpacks! It was really nice out. On the way home, we stopped for ice cream!

We took advantage of free cone day at Ben & Jerry's!

like-new museum

The children's museum near us was totally redone - it's now so much more spacious and clean! We spent a snowy afternoon there.
