splash park

This time my camera battery didn't die so I got a few photos of the kids at the splash park.

Prudential

We had a fun time the other day when we went to Boston. The kids had a snack and played in the courtyard next to the Prudential.

Then we went out to see the Red Sox 2004 and 2007 World Series trophies and get free hot dogs (not me)!

A woman from the hot dog company shot these and I found them on the internet.

We then had lunch with some friends I used to work with. Afterwards we went to the observatory way up high.

pool time

Our friends Gracie, Dylan and Brandon have a much bigger pool than ours in their yard. Jane "swam" constantly for 2 1/2 hours, even though she was freezing!

Photobucket

Surprise, surprise: Malcolm didn't want to go in!

bumper boats

We thought this would be a fun idea.

Photobucket

Jane wasn't too thrilled with the boat ride, though!

Photobucket

Luckily Rosalie and Lindsay had a good time!

Photobucket

The boats were loud and Malcolm didn't like it!

hot day

The six of us walked to get pizza for lunch and Jane and Rosalie brought their dolls. I was excited to get this picture of them all sitting on the stair when we got back!

animal adventures

"Animal Adventures" did a show at Garden in the Woods this week, so we couldn't miss it. Jane and Malcolm were both very brave and touched most of the animals we saw, including snakes, lizards and a crocodile.

We saw a lot of turtles in the lily pond!

Georges Island

Jane wanted to have her picture taken with Wally before we got on the ferry!

Photobucket

It seemed like we were on vacation but we were so close to Boston. It was 90 out but felt very comfortable on the island.

Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Yesterday we met Nana and Grandpa halfway at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire. I'm shamelessly stealing Grandpa's photos since I haven't uploaded mine yet! (I'm sure his are much better, anyway!) We had a wonderful time. It was just perfect for a two and four year old.

The best part was the yellow submarine. I knew it would be there so we listened to it on the way there. Coincidentally, Jane wore her Beatles shirt!

Here's Jane at the little post office. They had fun with that, although we're angry at the post office right now for stopping the delivery of our mail since our mailbox wasn't tall enough. We're figuring out how to pay all our bills online!

I love this because this is Malcolm's true smile.

I didn't get any photos of this, but we met a 4 1/2 year old blond-haired, blue-eyed girl from New Jersey named Jane, and her mom was named Sarah. The girls' personalities are exactly alike. Each Jane wanted nothing to do with the other; I think they were weirded out by the coincidence. It was like meeting Jane's long-lost twin!
