drama camp

Jane has been doing drama camp for three weeks. She worked very hard memorizing her lines, songs and dance moves. On Wednesday night there was a preview of the play, then Thursday was the whole thing. She did great and she really loved it!

blue belts

The kids earned their blue belts last week! Karate has been more fun and game-like this summer, they like it!

nature camp

Malcolm loved his week at camp! He swam, went on walks, toasted marshmallows and learned about animals. On the last day the kids did a skit and some songs.

To celebrate the end, we stopped at a candy store on the way home!

family reunion

The weather was perfect for the family reunion! We stayed a long time. The kids were happy to get another chance to swim at the cottage!

When Malcolm was in camp, Jane and her friend Sofia had fun at the lake!

space and crocs

We had a good time at the science museum last weekend. The crocodile exhibit was fun, and there were a lot of cute crocodiles! There was a new space exhibit that had a simulator which made you feel like you were aboard the ISS. It was so cool! Jane pretended to use a space toilet. We watched a family-friendly version of The Martian and the kids loved it! It was a nice day to have a picnic lunch, too.

Maine vacation

We spent two weeks in Maine again this year! We saw a lot of our families and had a relaxing time. We had lots of good food (and beer), saw some great sights and enjoyed the ocean. We celebrated the Fourth, went to a baseball game, and did some crafts and legos. There were a lot of great sunsets and a full moon!
