just the girls

Malcolm has been going to camp this week. The other day, Jane and I went to the library, a coffee shop and a bookstore. It was a fun outing!

Walden

We had cinnamon buns and coffee at Walden Pond. It was a nice day! It was actually a lot more crowded than it looks in the photos, it's a popular spot!

outdoor performance

Jane played with some of the kids from band camp at the farmer's market. She didn't know all the songs so she had to learn them on the fly! Afterwards we picked up some peanut butter bars and hard cider.

band and blueberry crumble

Jane spent a week at band camp. The concert was really good! She had a few solos. Afterwards we celebrated with blueberry crumble ice cream

stamp museum

The kids and I went to the stamp museum and again the exhibits were very interesting and we got a lot of free stuff! They had a lot of Apollo 11 material on display.

farmland fun

We went to Davis Farmland on a perfect summer day. As always, the animals were adorable!

sea and sand

We went to the beach last weekend. The kids liked the big waves, and digging in the sand. Afterwards we went out to eat and the kids played giant chess.

tech camp

Jane had a good week at tech camp! She designed a 3D cat and a house.

Jane made star-shaped biscuits for the 4th of July! We had them with strawberries and whipped cream!
