fall fest

We had a nice time celebrating fall at the cottage with our family, and we helped to close up for the winter. Luckily the weather cooperated!

Fenway

Jane and I went to Fenway Park Sunday; a beautiful day! We stopped and had sushi burritos first. The Sox won, and after the game we got to go onto the field!

music and football

Jane played trumpet with the band at her school's football game. I had so much fun watching the game and listening to the music!

labor day

We had a labor day picnic, then we went out for ice cream. I had pumpkin oreo!

outdoor dining

We ate outdoors at an Asian restaurant, and it was delicious!

power outage

We had a brief power outage in the evening, so Malcolm did origami using his lantern!

arboretum

Jane and I walked around the arboretum right before school started!

2021 vacation

We had a great summer vacation at the cottage and surrounding area! Aside from one medical mishap, we enjoyed a lot of good weather and food, saw beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and even went to a lighthouse and on a boat ride! We visited FIVE bookstores, had candy, whoopie pies, fried seafood and some delicious local beer. We saw lots of family, cooked, and did art and craft projects. We walked, swam, and I went running. Cinder loved watching all the different birds out the window and climbing the beam!
