The kids have decided they don't want Mom cutting their hair anymore. I have to admit, it's a lot easier to bring them somewhere!

The stylist put gel in Malcolm's hair which he played with for hours!

Cassidy and Malcolm had fun using sculpey during our playdate yesterday! They made blocks, balls, a candy cane and a pumpkin.

Our CSA farm had a potluck dinner Sunday night. The kids ate tons of crackers, drank tons of juice and played on the swing a lot!

We had a great day for applefest this year!

We headed to Carver Hill orchard. The conditions were perfect for picking. We had so much fun and got a lot of apples!

It felt like fall yesterday! We took the kids to the park so they could ride their bikes and play.

Jane went to a rollerskating birthday party. She had never done it before, but she skated well and had a great time. Since she knows how to ice skate it probably made it easier for her! She's been begging me to go back.

Malcolm at soccer

Malcolm was very excited to start soccer again. It was hot and humid on his first day! Fewer girls are playing this time so he's on a team of 8 boys. He's happy because he's friends with most of the kids and he's had one of the coaches before.

Our local ice cream shop will close for the season soon, so we made one last trip.

Yesterday it was 85 out so I took the kids to the lake to swim after school. They were very excited!

We went to the science museum over Labor Day weekend. I know we've been a lot and I've posted a ton of photos, but we always discover something new there!
