tea party museum and more

The kids and I went to the Tea Party Ships and Museum. We had been two years before and we loved it, so we wanted to go back. It was a cold day in Boston! We saw some really cool things on our way there and back, so it was a great outing!

At the end of our train ride home we were the only ones in our car, so the kids decided to have a "party!"

Christmas stockings and storm

The kids had fun opening their stockings on Christmas! We had a snowstorm on top of some ice, so it was pretty outside.

early Christmas

Because of snow in the forecast, we celebrated Christmas in Maine a day early. Before we left, I saw a bunny in the backyard! We had a nice time opening presents and eating yummy food. I had fun making the elaborate cake, and it tasted good!

cute cats

The other day Westie burrowed into some clothes on the floor.

That night I was at my neighbor's house and Leo looked quite regal.

last night of Hanukkah

On the last night of Hanukkah, Jane got some Pokemon toys, Malcolm got a camera and I got a bat calendar. Yay!

friend Hanukkah

We had some friends over for Hanukkah and this time we had chocolate challah for dessert!

train show

The kids and I made our annual trip to the train show in Lexington! We love the Hogsmeade section. The museum has a cool stained glass window, too.

family Hanukkah

We celebrated Hanukkah with Nana and cousins! It was fun to eat latkes, light the menorah, open presents and have Boston cream pie for dessert.

Both kids earned their yellow belts at karate! They were really excited.

Hanukkah

We've had a fun Hanukkah so far. The kids have been lighting the menorah and enjoying their presents! Over the next few days we'll celebrate with family, friends and latkes!
