Christmas highlights

We did a LOT of cooking and baking for Christmas. The kids enjoyed opening their stockings full of international snacks! We had a scary drive to Maine that was very icy, but we made it okay and had a nice time visiting with family.

We got a small amount of snow last weekend but Malcolm managed to make a snow cat!

winter concert

Jane was one of only a few kids participating in chorus AND band in last night's concert. She had to put on a white shirt midway-through to match the band! She switched from trumpet to French horn a few weeks ago.

The squirrels and deer have been enjoying this year's crabapple harvest!

xmas decorating

Because Cinder is a climber/cord-chewer, we put up the only xmas decorations we felt safe with!

Hanukkah highlights

We had a nice Hanukkah this year, ending with latkes at Nana's house!
