family ski day

We went skiing on Saturday. The weather was nice! I forgot most of what I learned in lessons a few years ago so I skied alone on the beginner slope. The kids went on the chairlift with Nate to the top of the mountain! We took a break mid-morning to eat cider donuts, and afterwards we went out to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Jane made homemade granola bars. They were delicious!

Southern Maine

We met Nana and Grammy at Stonewall Kitchen during vacation. It was fun sampling everything, even ghost pepper aioli!

Next we went to the Kittery Trading Post. They had some great stuff.

We had lunch at When Pigs Fly. They had delicious pizza and the bakery was great, too!

We were happy it snowed during February vacation!

4th grade concert

The 4th grade concert was terrific!

I ventured into Boston to watch the Patriots parade! It was so warm I didn't need a coat. I found a place to watch across from the Hynes Convention Center. I couldn't see much but I held my camera up high and took as many photos as I could.

superbowl!

As usual, we had nachos and a football dessert for the superbowl! The footballs were sort of like peanut butter cookie dough covered in chocolate. The kids stayed up for the whole game and we were happy the Patriots won!

basketball excitement

Jane's last regular season basketball game was quite exciting. The defense was strong so there wasn't a lot of scoring. The game was tied, so they went into overtime. Jane's team won, and they're going to the playoffs!

Groundhog Day

We wanted to see what would happen with the groundhog on Groundhog Day. More winter - no big surprise! We liked exploring the farm, also. We didn't stay long because it was cold!
