We went to the library the other day and the kids read to the reading dog. They didn't want me in the room with them so I didn't take any pictures. Here they are looking at Where's Waldo.

It was crazy hair day again! This time Jane got an upside-down french braid.

I spiked Malcolm's hair with gel but he kept playing with it, so it didn't stay too well.

St. Patrick's Day

Although we're not Irish, we like to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Malcolm helped me make soda bread.

This is a typical lunch for Malcolm. After eating this, and almost every lunch, he says he's still hungry and needs more food!

crazy hair day

Crazy hair day at school is always fun!

lip sync!

Jane and her friends signed up to perform "Under the Sea" from the Little Mermaid at the lip sync this year. We had so much fun getting together to practice dancing and paint t-shirts. Last week at the rehearsal we realized we needed one more practice before the big day, and they changed a few of their moves to make it a little simpler.

One of the girls was away the day of the performance but we were still glad she was part of the group!

Nana and Grammy even came down from Maine to see it. They did a great job and we had fun watching all the other acts, too!

new exhibit

We had a nice visit to the science museum a couple weeks ago. We spent the whole time watching a planetarium show and in two exhibits: the hall of human life and the global kitchen. We learned all about where food comes from and how it's made, and it made us very hungry. We had to go home early and have a big snack!
