The kids' swimming lessons came to an end. They went well, but I'm glad not to have to deal with wet bathing suits and sand every day anymore!

There was a party at the end and the kids enjoyed all the treats.

We were happy to go blueberry picking the other day!

Wingaersheek Beach

We made a trek to Gloucester last week to visit Wingaersheek Beach. It was a gorgeous day! We were there with a couple other families. I knew my kids would want to climb on the rocks right away so I took them, plus Cassidy and Griffin, off to explore.

After a little while the kids all started getting cuts on their legs and feet so they wanted to go back to our spot on the beach.

Jane made a sand cat.

Later she made a volcano. When the other kids saw it they wanted to add to it and play with it.

summer soccer

The kids both decided to sign up for summer soccer. They learn skills and play scrimmages so they're prepared for the fall.

Jane has always loved playing defense, so she's been working on her goalie skills.

science Sunday

We spent a good part of Sunday at the science museum. We love when it isn't crowded!

We had never been in this lab before. The kids put different liquids on powders and tried to guess what they were.

The Pixar exhibit was fun!

swimming lessons

We're having a nice time spending mornings at the lake and taking swimming lessons. Jane's learning some new strokes and Malcolm's much better about putting his head in the water.

They do warm-up exercises at the beginning. They start early in the morning so it's chilly out!

Last Tuesday after lessons there was an Animal Adventures program. The kids loved it, especially this baby bunny!
