Hanukkah

We had a successful Hanukkah this year! Both kids got video games, Jane got a snare drum and a leatherman and Malcolm got bunny slippers and fancy paper for origami. Jane had the idea of using rainbow candles in the menorah, and I loved it!

holidays in Maine

We celebrated both Hanukkah and Christmas in Maine! We also visited L.L.Bean.

We put our tree in a different spot this year. Before we decorated it, we had eggnog and it started snowing!

We stopped at the orchard to get cider and the kids toasted marshmallows! The sheep looked ready for the snowstorm.

The kids decorated turkey cookies with their cousins on Thanksgiving!

birthday

On Nate's birthday we went shopping at Penzeys, out for Tex-Mex food and had pumpkin ice cream pie for dessert!

OrigaMIT convention

Malcolm went to his first origami convention, and he loved it! He exhibited two projects and liked looking at everyone else's. He bought paper from Michael LaFosse and took a class with Robert Lang! He also got to have his favorite food for lunch: a burrito. The last photo is the violinist he made with the Origamido paper.

Unmurdered

Jane was in the school play last weekend. It was very entertaining and she did a great job!
