lego landmarks

We went to see U.S. landmarks made out of legos displayed at the mall. They were very impressive! I especially loved the tiny Lincoln inside the Lincoln Memorial. The kids also got to play with legos. The lego store had a Millennium Falcon that was huge!

day trip to Vermont

On Saturday we headed to Vermont to check out a children's farm! We also went to a cheese shop, out to lunch and to a bookstore. Brattleboro was a neat place to explore!

fall fest

We had fall fest at the cottage (combining applefest and Oktoberfest) and it was fun! The food was delicious, the weather was nice and of course the company was great.

labor day

On labor day we went to the lake, played frisbee and ate an apple pie (made from the apples we picked)!

We had a great time picking apples at Carver Hill. I love that it's never crowded and we don't have to pay for all kinds of kids' activities. The kids ended up climbing a rock and playing with a caterpillar, and they had plenty of fun!
