finishing up ski lessons

Because of some cancellations earlier in the season, I got the date confused and didn't realize it was the last day of ski lessons! I would've brought the camera and gotten better pictures if I had known, but at least I took a few with my phone.

I spent part of their lesson time enjoying a beer and reading. It was relaxing!

I let the kids go on the chair lift together and they had fun!

Since all our snow at home is melted, I don't really think about skiing anymore. I guess we'll wait until next year to go together as a family.

pilgrimage to Parker's

We had a yummy time at Parker's Maple Barn with our friends! The coffee is maple and it's so good!

Ice Castles!

We ventured up north to see the Ice Castles! Our first stop was a coffee shop in Campton, New Hampshire for lunch. Next we went to the White Mountain visitor center in Woodstock.

The Ice Castles were quite an experience! There were places to slide and explore. There are colored lights in the ice that change, it was amazing!

warm day

It was so warm out the other day, we made iced tea and sat on the deck! Westie went on the deck, too, and found an old hornet's nest.

valentine's day 2018

We had a nice valentine's day this year! Malcolm made a cool lego box to collect valentines at school. Jane made a cat bag that had its mouth open to eat the valentines. We had fondue for dinner. I sure like any holiday that involves chocolate!

mirror maze

We went to the science museum to see the mirror maze and some other stuff. The maze was really cool!

ice

We had a storm that turned from snow to rain, then it was cold, so everything was covered in ice. The kids liked it!

Malcolm made a large origami boat so Westie had to test it out!

superbowl

Well, we all know how the superbowl ended up, but we still had fun doing a football puzzle and making and eating nachos and cupcakes! Jane made the cupcakes almost completely by herself. I had buffalo tofu nachos and they were delicious!
