fun day in the city

Jane and I attended the Boston Fermentation Festival again this year. We sampled lots of fermented food and kombucha. Jane made sauerkraut again, and she had fun doing it! One difference from last year is that they wouldn't let us into the libations area, so that was a disappointment for me! We had lunch at the Boston Public Market, toured Paul Revere's house and then went back to the market for gourmet donuts.

Our neighbor was having some trees cut down so I wanted to get out of the house for a while to escape the noise. We walked around Delaney. There were a lot of bees!

When we got home the noise was still happening and Westie was scared, so she slept in a box!

Kimball Farm

We met our friends on a hot day to play mini golf, ride bumper boats and have ice cream!

four hours in Hyannis

We took a quick day trip to Hyannis! We went to the beach, out for lunch and ice cream, then we toured the Cape Cod potato chip factory. They gave us free samples at the end. Yum!

On Tuesday we had dinner at the tiki bar, so the kids got to swim! Then on Thursday we went to the lake. It's been hot, so it's nice to cool off!
