another Boston adventure

We started the day at the ICA in the Seaport District, then took a boat bound for East Boston to the ICA's other building, the Watershed. We found a restaurant nearby that serves Australian mini-pies and had those for lunch! We took the boat back to the main ICA, then got some beer to bring home from Trillium. The weather was perfect!

Plum Island

Jane and I took a walk and then visited the beach on Plum Island. It was a nice day!

bobwhites!

The other morning after it rained, it was foggy. I heard an unusual sound out the window, and I discovered bobwhites outside! Cinder was sure interested in them.

Malcolm has folded several tigers, and this is the latest one. To get the two colors, he spray-painted tracing paper black on one side.

beautiful day in Boston

We're very relieved the horrible heat and humidity went away and we spent a very pleasant day in Boston. We had coffee in the North End, visited the Holocaust Memorial, browsed at a craft fair on the Greenway, walked around the aquarium, watched an India independence parade, went to the Boston Public Market and had pizza in the North End for lunch. We ate our Italian pastries when we got home!
