outside
Jane made another fairy house next to her first one. This one is for the kids, and the other one is for the adults, according to Jane.
The magnolia isn't so hot but I had to get a shot with Jane like I do every year. Malcolm didn't want to cooperate!
Wednesday
On Wednesday we went to story and craft time at a bookstore, then met Daddy for lunch at a bakery, then visited this cool playground that was just renovated.
woolapalooza
Once again we made it to woolapalooza. The kids did crafts, we learned about shearing sheep, making yarn, and got to watch a border collie herd the sheep.
There were a few bunnies there as well.
Seeing this hawk was a neat surprise. He was visiting the hawks in cages.
And I had to get some yarn, of course!
new school
Jane will be in the first kindergarten class at the majorly renovated elementary school in our town. We got to take a tour on Saturday and it was very impressive!
She's wearing pjs because she had just come from a breakfast birthday party for her friend Duncan. I dropped her off, so I wasn't there to take photos of the festivities. It was a great idea and she had a wonderful time. She wants to do that for her birthday!

ice skating
The kids had their final skating lesson last week. They both improved immensely. The second week Jane moved up a class, then in the third week she moved up another level and stayed there until the end. Malcolm moved up a level as well.
It's too bad the winter was too warm to have skating outside, since that was the point of all this, but there's always next year.
Jane helped Malcolm put on his coat!
