We ate lunch at the Green Dragon afterwards. We hadn't been there in years but we used to frequent it because of the Green Dragon in Lord of the Rings. Too bad it was bought by some big company and the food wasn't as good! The kids were still happy since they got hot dogs.
Jane wore a dress because she assumed Grammy was having a party since it was her birthday!
The firetruck was cool, too.
Jane liked reading different books.
In the afternoon we went to the science building. We had never been there before because it's meant for kids age 6 and up, but Jane and Malcolm loved it. We'll definitely go back soon!
They got to record their voices and play them back in a silly way.
She had fun walking down the road with no cars!
After my one-mile parade walk with Jane to the field I realized that my car, husband and son were at the beginning of the parade and the parade was not going back. Since Dad has no cell phone, I quickly walked back to the beginning in shoes that were not appropriate for the task. Luckily the boys were waiting in the car and everything was okay, and Jane did great waiting with her team for us to join her.

After the game was the photo session. Of course the photographer asked Jane to show her teeth, and forcing a smile is never attractive! This one came out better.
