The kids took turns grinding dried corn off the cob. This barn reminded us of Grammy's, which was probably built around the same time.
They got to ring a huge bell at the Exchange Hall!
Then run around inside the ballroom. Jane said this was her favorite part of our outing.

Lovely. I always wonder how all historic locations are a lot more accessible geographically to East Coast kids. But... I'd rather take natural wonders :)
