last soccer

Both kids had their last soccer games/practices last weekend. Malcolm's was on Saturday and it was a nice day! They decided it to make it crazy hat/hair day. Here's the whole team:

He was so excited to get a medal.

The soccer field is next to the town forest. Every week he asked me if we could go walking in the woods but it never worked out, so we finally went on the last day.

It was a nice walk except for a bunch of people walking their dogs with no leashes. Some of the dogs ran at each other and growled, so Malcolm (and I) were pretty freaked out. I guess we'll find a different place to hike next time.

The next day Jane had her last game. The camera battery ran out so I didn't get too many pictures. She had fun and scored a goal! After the game the team went to a pizza party with cider and cupcakes. They had a great time, and they each got a medal like Malcolm's.
