Animal Kingdom

I was pretty sure we would enjoy Animal Kingdom since we love animals, and we did! We started our day by having breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe. It was great!

"Mount Everest" (Jane's favorite ride)

The safari was fun except for the big cats being asleep. The ostriches caused a traffic jam!

We saw a gorilla, then went to the Lion King show. It was amazing! Jane wanted her photo taken with Simba after the show.

Dinoland was really cool. It felt like a carnival. A man gave the kids free cookies. The dinosaur ride took us back in time and it was quite an adventure.

We saw our friends from home at the Boneyard! April had given us tons of advice about planning the trip!

I decided to not get soaked and sit out the river rapids ride. I had a mango cocktail instead.

We saw a lot of cool animals - I had always wanted to see a komodo dragon and the world's largest bat species!

Rafiki's Planet Watch was really fun. It seemed a lot less crowded than other parts, and the kids got to pet a snake and some goats.

The man-made tree of life is huge!

Our Asian-themed dinner was delicious!
