Today is a sick day for me so we're staying home. It's 75 degrees out, thank goodness. The kids have done a great job entertaining themselves. I thought I'd post a couple photos of our garden, also.

A woodchuck ate most of everything we planted (even flowers) but here's our tiny cucumber!

We're lucky to have two orchards nearby with blueberries to choose from this summer! The kids did a great job the first time I took them but not the second or the third. It motivates me to pick quickly!

I've been too paranoid to bring my kids alone to the lake, so we met our friends Leigh and Hannah there on Sunday morning. They did great and we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of all three kids playing together. Maybe next time!

Buttonwood Zoo

While we were in New Bedford we visited the Buttonwood Zoo. It's nice and small so it was the perfect size for Jane and Malcolm to explore.









Jane LOVES giraffes, so this was very cute!

New Bedford Whaling Museum

Last Saturday we took a trip to New Bedford. To celebrate Melville's 192nd birthday the Whaling Museum had all kinds of crafts and activities for kids to do. Jane and Malcolm have been reading "Jump" and "Burt Dow: Deep Water Man" a lot lately, which both have whales in them, so we thought we'd capitalize on their current whale obsession.
