going to work
spring at the arboretum
I love how Jane's shirt and Molly's sweater match the tree they're under!
Jack was fascinated with the frisbee we brought and carried it all around.
Old Sturbridge Village
The first place we visited was a kid's room with all different things to play with. Here's Jane hanging up the laundry:
And Malcolm sitting in the well bucket:
Here's a meeting house which used to be in the center of Sturbridge. Tyler, Nate and Lily are posing also.
Tyler, Lily and Malcolm are checking out the sheep:
Old burial ground:
The kids had fun with this game for a few minutes but then proceeded to use the sticks to dig in the dirt for quite some time!
They had a lot of fun with this cow!
There were a ton of fish in the pond.
Malcolm needed a rest in Nate's stroller after all that walking!

Patriot's Day
The kids took turns grinding dried corn off the cob. This barn reminded us of Grammy's, which was probably built around the same time.
They got to ring a huge bell at the Exchange Hall!
Then run around inside the ballroom. Jane said this was her favorite part of our outing.
bikes and flowers
Here are a few flowers we have. I can't take credit for most of them since they were planted before we moved in.
I did plant these although I don't remember choosing them!
