little league

Since Jane is 6 she could either do another year of t-ball or move on to baseball or softball. I thought baseball would be a good idea since it includes boys and girls. When I saw the team roster I noticed that Jane was going to be the only girl, so at the last minute I asked the league if she could switch to an all-girl softball team, and it worked out. She had her first practice and did really well. She's the littlest and youngest, so it will be a nice change from kindergarten where she's one of the biggest and oldest.

She wants to practice all the time out in our yard!
