art day!

We recently met another family who are big art fans, so we headed out to the Berkshires to see the Van Gogh exhibit with them!

Both the museum and grounds were beautiful.

It was such a fun day!

Bolton Fair 2015

We had a great day to go to the fair this year with our friends. I only wish I had taken a photo of the delicious kettle corn we ate at the end of the day, but we were too busy devouring it!

Foot-long hot dogs!

Boston

We decided to go to Boston today! The kids' main motivation was to eat cupcakes on Newbury Street, but first we went out to lunch and explored Boston Common and the Public Garden.

Malcolm got peanut butter fudge, I got carrot cake and Jane got vanilla chocolate. They were delicious!

Gloucester

We went to such a beautiful beach with our friends Duncan and Cassidy this week.

The waves were big!

Canobie 2015

We made our annual trek to Canobie Lake Park. As usual, the kids didn't want to do a ton of rides but they had fun on the ones they did go on!

Ecotarium

We had a fun time at the Ecotarium with Trevor and Colin!

Jane wrote that she wanted to invent a donut machine.

Crane

We hadn't been to Crane Beach in a while so we went with our friends Griffin, Tyler and Matthew. It was a great day! Jane and Malcolm ate peaches on the beach.

They loved the tide pool!

Jane found a live sand dollar! She also found a hermit crab.

We headed north on Saturday, stopping in Portsmouth for breakfast.

The pancakes were huge (and delicious)!

Then we went to the cottage! Both grandmas were there as well as some cousins, aunts and uncles.

Reagan was there!

The kids had fun swimming with cousins.

The Portsmouth Brewery was a fun place to stop on the way home!
