Westie likes exploring underneath.

Malcolm put together the Lego train to go under the tree.

Baymax plan

Jane and a few classmates have been plotting to make their own Baymax. We went to the library and researched robots. I like the part of the diagram with a styrofoam cooler holding lollipops!

dollhouse makeover

Jane mentioned she doesn't play with the dollhouse because it isn't a fun color, so we decided to paint it. I didn't think it would take weeks to paint a dollhouse, but it did! We'll have to see if Jane will play with it more, but honestly, I think I care about it more than she does!

The outside changed from red to green and the trim got a nice new coat of white. Two of the rooms are now brown or light brown, and the rest got a fresh coat of white. Here's what it looked like before:

Mystic Aquarium

We headed to the Mystic Aquarium the day after Thanksgiving with some friends. It was fun going to a new place!

We loved looking at the beluga whales!

Seals are always cute!

The kids always go crazy over penguins. They really wanted to take one home!

The aquarium had two fascinating exhibits. One was sculptures made out of trash that was found in the ocean.

Another was all about the titanic.

Thanksgiving 2014

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Maine this year with both grandmothers, Uncle Abe, Uncle Ben, Aunt Amy and cousins Alexis and Reagan. Grammy got a lot more snow than we did!

Jane and Malcolm had a lot of fun playing with Reagan and making clay creations with her.

It was a yummy and fun day!

snow!

We had our first snowstorm of the year last week. I couldn't believe the amount Jane was able to collect! I'm glad they're old enough to play outside by themselves, although the pictures don't come out as well through the window.

all-school meeting

Jane's class, along with a 5th grade class, hosted the all-school meeting the other day.

She read a paragraph in front of the whole school.

Malcolm gave up a playdate because he wanted to go to the meeting!
