The outside changed from red to green and the trim got a nice new coat of white. Two of the rooms are now brown or light brown, and the rest got a fresh coat of white. Here's what it looked like before:

dollhouse makeover
Jane mentioned she doesn't play with the dollhouse because it isn't a fun color, so we decided to paint it. I didn't think it would take weeks to paint a dollhouse, but it did! We'll have to see if Jane will play with it more, but honestly, I think I care about it more than she does!

That sounds like a really fun project! I could totally see getting carried away with it though. I took one look at the doll house and imagined wall paper and curtains in one of the rooms :-)
