Berkshires day 3

We saved Hancock Shaker Village for Sunday, because the forecast was better for that day. We woke up to pouring rain. We drove there and parked, and I came very close to just driving home. We had been so cold and wet the day before and I didn't want to stay. But the kids got excited about going, so we went for it. Luckily it was a few degrees warmer that day!

These paintings were in one of the old buildings.

Here's Jane inside the round barn.

The piglets were cute!

We spent a lot of time in the discovery room, mostly because it was warm and dry, and had lots of kids' activities.

Jane wove part of the blue section. There was a pattern to follow and she pushed different levers with her feet. I was impressed!

We went to a few of the other buildings before leaving, and this one had beautiful yarn.

I had a hard time getting a good shot of the kids under a roof with the round barn behind them!

After this we went out for lunch in Stockbridge, then went home. We did have a lot of fun, but it was a relief to return home. The next day was sunny and warm and I spent most of the day outside!
