it's pink!

Jane's room was a very light blue that you almost couldn't tell was blue, and that didn't seem very exciting. For six years we've wanted to paint it a different color, but there was always another project that was more important. We asked her to pick a new color to paint it, and she chose pink.

Here's her room before.

She was more interested in reading than watching us paint.

The kids helped a little.

We had Jane sleep in Malcolm's room that night, then we went away for the weekend. When we came back we put the room back together. It's pretty bright, isn't it?

You can definitely tell which room of the house is my little girl's!
