terrific Tuesday

Malcolm doesn't usually feel like going places while Jane is in school, but I enticed him to go hiking with me behind the old, closed-down elementary school. Once I told him there was a rope swing, he was in.

The playground didn't hurt!

Then he suggested riding his bike on the pavement, what a good idea.

In the afternoon both kids rode bikes. We went to part of a wildlife refuge we hadn't been to before. I now officially need to bring my bike and ride with them because they're too fast for me if I walk!

Jane spotted this beautiful butterfly.
