For some reason, Malcolm has begun wearing a shirt and tie every Saturday.

We went for a nice hike on a great day. I figured out if we go somewhere we've never been, the kids like walking a lot more. I guess we need to explore some more new places!
Malcolm did some spin art which I think came out really cool.
I tried to paint them but the foamcore bent too much.
Computer printouts glued on worked much better.
The rehearsal:
Jeremy Reiner (a Channel 7 meteorologist) hosted the show and he introduced and interviewed the kids!
Un-cartoned...
Malcolm loved it but Jane didn't have such a great time doing it this year. Maybe next year she can take a break and Malcolm will find some friends to perform with.
On March 11 I listened to every 311 song we have, and that's a lot!
This month I started commuting to work again. It's a part-time freelance job designing cookbooks and I'm still home to watch the kids!
A flock of cedar waxwings feasted on our crab apples!
It turned out they weren't thrilled about the crowded child activities before the show, but they loved the music!
Next time we'll go to a normal show, not a kids' one so we don't hear crying babies the whole time.
Both kids liked the theme from Star Wars the best but us parents chose Tchaikovsky as our favorite.
Of course they enjoyed the part when we went out to lunch afterwards!
The Seacoast Science Center was a lot of fun.
I don't think I need to make them wear bathing suits for the touch tank anymore. They're tall enough that their sleeves don't get wet!
After the museum, we went out for seafood, and when we got home, Malcolm made a bunch of paper boats!
