another rainy day

Today Jane was supposed to represent her t-ball team as the batter in the pitch, hit and run competition but it got postponed. So we headed to Salem for the day. First we visited the Peabody Essex Museum.

Next we had lunch at the Beer Works. Jane had clam chowder and Malcolm was very insistent upon macaroni and cheese. They ate almost every bite of their food!

They had to stop for photos on the walk back to the museum.

We spent the rest of the time in the kid's area. Here's Jane reading Moby Dick.

Malcolm wanted me to read it to him, too!
