wool day

Jane and I ventured to Old Sturbridge Village to learn all about wool.

Jane caught her first fish! (Yes, I realize this has nothing to do with wool.)

We saw border collies do their thing.

This mama sheep is about to get her haircut.

We stopped to admire the horses!

We had some fudge - it was delicious!

This woman was spinning angora right off her bunny.

There were some visiting alpacas.

On our way out we stopped to see the bees and visit the herb garden.

Memorial Day cookout

We had some friends over to celebrate Memorial Day.

Jane played with the boy and Malcolm played with the girls, it was cute!

Jane found a fuzzy caterpillar.

There was a muffins with mom event at school on the Friday before Memorial Day so the kids happened to have patriotic clothes on. They look tired but cute!

I'm helping to coach Jane's team again this year so I can't take photos, but I snapped this one quickly the other day! Jane has a good group of kids this year and she loves the games. The kids are all improving, which is fun to see.

spring festival

The kids entered the lego contest this year for our town's spring festival. We didn't find out what the theme was until the day before so they rushed to get their creations done! A scene from literature was the theme. Jane chose The Color Kittens.

Malcolm couldn't think of a book so he made a Minecraft scene.

We met up with Jane's friend Avery and the kids got their faces painted.

Jane jumped in a bouncy house with Benjamin.

Wood-fired pizza was for lunch!

Cotton candy was for dessert!

Malcolm is enjoying soccer! The weather has been great and he has some good friends on his team.

flowers n' stuff

A group of us got together to celebrate some birthdays. The kids played, we had lunch and I brought the cake. It was chocolate.
